Christmas
in the Greenie Dome
Thursday, December 10, 7:30 p.m.
And to all a good night!
Save the Date and set aside your very best (or tackiest) holiday-themed wardrobe for Christmas in the Greenie Dome, which takes place Thursday, December 10 at 7:30 p.m.
Varsity Basketball will take on East Charlotte Christian that evening following a Freshman team game against the Greenville (S.C.) Hurricanes at 4:45 and a JV game between the Greenies and East Charlotte Christian at 6.
Whether you've been naughty or nice, you don’t want to miss one of 51Âþ»â€™s most beloved Christmas traditions.
Fans are encouraged to come dressed in an ugly sweater or other festive clothing. Expect to see the boys at their silliest, inflatables surrounding the court, and a guest appearance from Santa Claus. Also, know ahead of time that this game starts differently. Per tradition, the home crowd stays as quiet as possible until the Greenies score their 10th point, then the student section explodes. This is why Christmas in the Greenie Dome is sometimes referred to as our "Silent Night" game.
