Tuition and Financial Aid
Each year 51Âþ» invests in its students by allotting a portion of its budget to financial aid. In doing so, the school enrolls a population of students representative of the diverse world in which we live. The primary objective of 51Âþ»â€™s financial aid program is to attract and enroll families and students who might otherwise not consider 51Âþ» due to financial reasons.

Learning Resources Classes: $2,050 per semester.
Academic Coaching: $1,575 per semester.

Financial Aid
Merit-Based Assistance
51Âþ» offers a limited number of generous scholarships through its Headmaster’s Scholarship Program and Krieger Leadership Scholars program. Students must be nominated for both, which are merit-based.
Candidates who are interested in the Headmaster’s Scholarship Program must meet certain criteria in order to be considered. Achievement in academics, athletics, extracurricular participation, and community service are all ways a student might qualify for consideration. Ultimately, this program ensures that we will continue to enroll exceptional young men, each of whom will enrich the 51Âþ» community.

The Krieger Leadership Scholars program is reserved for new boarding applicants entering the 8th, 9th, and 10th grade. The program provides a life-changing opportunity by offering one full boarding scholarship and one quarter boarding scholarship on an annual basis. Selected scholars will retain their scholarship throughout their time at 51Âþ». Scholars are students of the highest distinction. Nominations and nominators should identify the unique attributes that sets your potential scholar apart. Does your scholar excel in the classroom, in the community, or offer perspective and promise that will improve our school?

Need-Based Assistance
51Âþ» is proud to offer need-based financial assistance to families who qualify. A candidate’s family must provide detailed financial information which is analyzed by and 51Âþ»â€™s Financial Aid Committee. Because financial aid funds are limited, not all families who demonstrate need will receive assistance. All families are welcome to apply.
Monthly Payment Plan
To assist families, 51Âþ» offers a 10-month payment plan or billing in two installments. Monthly payments from July through April are due on the 10th of each month.
