Financial Aid
The 51Âþ» Financial Aid program is designed to make a 51Âþ» education possible for all families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds. 51Âþ» has partnered with to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application. The application is mobile and tablet friendly. You may save your progress and return at any time. Additionally, your 1040 and W2 documents will transfer automatically from the IRS when you complete the verification step, so you will not need to upload those documents manually.
International families will be prompted to upload income verification in the form of a paystub or employment letter stating salary and a copy of tax documents from their country, as applicable. Please provide these with English translation.
New Students
Each year, requests for financial aid exceed available funding so not all qualifying families can be awarded financial aid. Since financial aid is offered on a first come first served basis, we recommend completing the Application for Admission and the Financial Aid application simultaneously and meeting all application deadlines.
Financial aid decisions are made independently of admission decisions. Admission decisions are made based on a student’s strength of application relative to the full application pool and the likelihood he will contribute to the larger 51Âþ» community.

Returning Students
All families receiving financial aid must reapply annually to continue receiving need-based aid for the subsequent year. Please note the deadline for returning families is January 6. Financial aid award notification will be delivered through a student’s re-enrollment contract in OnCampus.
