A 51Âþ»­ education is deeply personal. Each Greenie is known, challenged, and supported as he grows academically, athletically, and as a young man of character. Strong relationships with teachers, coaches, and mentors are at the heart of that experience.

The 51Âþ»­ Fund is the foundation of philanthropy at 51Âþ»­. Gifts provide immediate, budget-relieving support for the school’s annual operating needs and help ensure excellence across every aspect of the Greenie experience.

Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a 51Âþ»­ education. Support from the 51Âþ»­ Fund bridges that gap, strengthening academics, athletics, faculty, scholarships, and student life while preserving flexibility to meet the school’s most pressing needs.

Choose How You Make an Impact

Every gift to the 51Âþ»­ Fund supports the school’s annual operating needs. Donors may choose to direct their support to one of the following areas, reflecting the aspects of the 51Âþ»­ experience that matter most to them.

CS Fund: Undesignated

Flexible annual support

Provides 51Âþ»­ with the flexibility to address the school’s most pressing needs each year and to direct resources where they will have the greatest immediate impact.

CS Fund: Athletics

Character, discipline, teamwork, and leadership

Supports the Greenie athletic programs that are central to the 51Âþ»­ experience. Gifts help fund coaching excellence, equipment, team travel, strength and conditioning, and the development of leadership and brotherhood through sport.

CS Fund: Faculty

Teachers, mentors, and coaches

Supports the exceptional educators who shape Greenies every day in classrooms and dorms. Gifts help provide competitive compensation, professional development, and program resources that sustain excellence across campus.

CS Fund: Scholarships

Access and opportunity

Supports need-based financial aid, ensuring that deserving students can access a 51Âþ»­ education regardless of financial circumstance.

Arts, leadership, and enrichment

Supports the experiences that define life at 51Âþ»­ beyond academics and athletics, including the arts, leadership development, clubs, activities, and experiential learning opportunities.

Help Us Meet Our Greatest Needs

Tuition covers only about 85% of 51Âþ»­'s operating budget. Undesignated donations to the 51Âþ»­ Fund provide us with the flexibility to meet our areas of greatest need, such as competitive faculty salaries, student scholarships, maintenance of facilities and grounds, and day to day operating costs.

Gifts of any amount are appreciated, and 51Âþ»­ thanks every donor who makes giving to 51Âþ»­ a priority. As a 51Âþ»­ Fund donor, you will be recognized in one of 51Âþ»­'s giving societies and in the Annual Giving Report, which is published each fall.
