51Âþ» swimming had a pair of individual event winners in Jake Landis ’25 (500-yard freestyle, 5:44.37) and John Barton ’25 (100-yard breaststroke, 1:06.83), with 17 Greenies achieving personal records Wednesday in a Carolinas Athletic Association meet at Asheville School.
John qualified for February’s NCISAA Division I state meet in the 100 breaststroke and 100 freestyle. Other state-qualifying times were swam by Alex Jarrett ’26 (200 individual medley), Spencer Thompson ’26 (100 freestyle), Leo Lagutin ’24 (100 freestyle), and Tyler Thompson ’24 (200 IM).
