Rain softened up Biltmore Forest Country Club on Thursday and 51Âþ»â€™s depth did the rest.
Freshman Jack Teague ’29 shot one-under 34 as a first-time medalist for the Greenies (142) in their nine-hole, dual match win over Carolina Day (164).
Levi Ellison ’27 and Hank Bradley ’27 came in one stroke back of Jack with 35s and David Gaines ’26 rounded out 51Âþ»â€™s top four with a 38. The next-scheduled match for the team is Monday at BFCC against schools from the Asheville area.
